It’s been made pretty clear that Marvel’s Runaways was a huge influence on Morning Glories, and in my case in particular, artist Adrian Alphona has been my greatest artistic influence on the series. A few months back, I commissioned him to draw Casey Blevins from the book, and I was just blown away by his interpretation! I may or may not have squealed with glee when I opened the attachment. haha. It’s always a kick seeing other artists’ interpretations of your characters, but it’s an extra thrill when it’s one of your influences!
